INP (Interaction to Next Paint)

Metric that replaced FID in 2024 to measure responsiveness. Evaluates the time between user interaction (click, tap, keystroke) and the next visual update on screen. Unlike FID, which only measured the first interaction, INP considers all interactions during the session. The ideal score is below 200ms.
